WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, as well as hundreds of other elite and pro athletes worldwide.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity;
we don’t change programs.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Our On-Ramp CrossFit School is offered two Sundays each month from 2-5:30pm, please check our schedule for dates.

The emphasis of On-Ramp is on skill development and exposure to our basic movements. It is designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing group classes. We are going to be hammering technique—both to ensure your safety & success at the next level.

We will introduce you to technique and mechanics first, then intensity. We will be showing you movements that begin with the relatively non technical and progressively more technical.

CrossFit Iron Mary’s is proud to offer indoor rowing classes for all ages. As a “no impact” workout, indoor rowing is recognized as the ultimate calorie burning form of exercise. Indoor rowing is a great way to boost your metabolism to increase weight loss, build muscle, and also recover from injuries or surgery.

Combining a workout of every major muscle group in addition to cardiovascular all in one exercise, you can accomplish more in less time than with any other form of exercise.
